5 Things You Need to Know Today: Sept. 7

From a weekend play to the city's website being down on Saturday; we have the information you need right here.

1. A total of 12 percent of Marlborough's voters, 2,498 people, turned out to cast their choice yesterday.

2. The city's website will be down from 8 a.m. to noon this Saturday as the web site host will be expanding the capacity of the data center.

3. A Cub Scout signup event will be held at the Marlborough Fish and Game Club. Those interested in signing up for the Cub Scouts can come for a few hours or bring a tent and stay the night with parental supervision starting at 6 p.m. today.

4. A favorite weekend pastime in New England is the yard sale. Might we suggest checking out this multi-family yardsale on Newton Street or this moving sale on Desimone Street?

5. A connecting point prayer walk put on by Connecting Point Church will take place at Ghiloni Park on Sunday at 10 a.m.
