2. A new waste management/recycling system has been proposed to the city of Marlborough. WMCT has a video on their Youtube site detailing this service that may be coming to your doorstep soon.
3. Solomon Pond Mall will host two events during the week of February vacation. First, on Saturday, Feb. 18, the mall will host the Summer Camp & Activities Fair from 12:30 to 3:30p.m. The fair features a diverse group of summer camp and recreational resources that serve area residents and their kids ages 3-17. The presenting programs have been selected via criteria such as reputation, available resources, location, cost and specialties include: general recreation, computer/technology, art, general sports, horseback riding, premium day camp, academics, and more. On Monday, Feb. 20, the Kidgits Pirate of the Caribbean Adventure will take place from noon to 4 p.m. This is a family event that will include Moonbounce, pirate themed arts & crafts and pirate costumes.
4. St. Mary's Credit Union based here in Marlborough has announced that they will be expanding operations to the old Friendly's location in Westborough, according to a recent report in the Worcester Business Journal.
