5 Things You Need to Know Today: Aug. 17
Celebrate having made it to the weekend today with a hot meal and shopping for some used items during National Thrift Shop Day.
1.The veteran's of foreign wars will be offering a home-cooked meal at a low price today.
2. The Garden in the Woods in Framingham will be participating in Free Fun Fridays. Stop by beginning at 9 a.m. for free admission.
3. If you want to spend your time touring a museum, the Concord Museum will also be participating in Free Fun Fridays as well. Hours will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
4. Today is National Thrift Shop Day. So get out there and shop till you drop, but only if it is while getting some nice used or vintage items.
