5 Things: Raising Awareness and Heritage

From two women raising money for causes they are passionate about to this weekend's Heritage Festival; we have what you need to know today right here.

1. This weekend, Flavia Barry walked to raise money and awareness for Autism. Ida Daley raised $1,151 towards Alzheimer's research with her team Walk for Nonna Ida. Do you have a story to share? You can click through and learn more about these two women's stories and share your own.

2. The Heritage Festival occured on Sunday and photographer Paul Bishop was there and grabbed a slew of photos that we have for you to enjoy.

3. Here at Patch Marlborough we are putting a closer focus on those giving within the community. Let us know about people who give and might not get recognition for it. We have some more information about this new initiative here.

4. The School Committee will be meeting tonight. Among the discussion scheduled to take place will be MCAS results as well as a negotiation session at the close of the meeting.

5. Have some information you want to get out there about something you are passionate about? That is where our blogging system comes in. Contributing and sharing with your community is as simple as clicking through and taking a few quick steps to your first post.
